Access by Water

Fernandina is the first port of call directly on the ICW south of GA-FL state line. The Fernandina Harbor Marina (904-261-0355) sits at the end of Centre Street. If you have a boat and would like to travel to Amelia by water, call ahead to check slip availability .

About the only problem when it comes to visiting Fernandina Beach by water is finding good dockage. Now, any of you approaching the village waterfront for the first time might think we were a bit addled brained to make such an assertion. Right there before your eyes are a whole set of floating slips. Too bad that at low tide all but the outer pier (which is located in naturally deep water) are either entirely bare of water or only sport a few inches of H2O.
